First time I filed, the papers were returned to me with explanation that the judge did not sign documents due to the fact that Long Beach, Ca (where defendant had fled) was more than150 miles away from Fairfield.

(Both checks I issued at the court were refunded after a long while)

It had the same explanation about the 150 mile rule from apparently the same person working for the judge. There was no name as to who wrote the letter. No signature. No title of the office where the letter was coming from. No phone number for questions. Very poorly written considering this is a legal correspondence. I had to do research online to get some info. As to the papers returned to me twice due to the 150 mile rule, I asked why the clerks did not say anything when I filed. Per supervisor's explanation, the clerks only make sure that the name and address of the court and case number are filled out correctly on the top part of the form. Wow. I feel that waste could have been easily avoided in this particular case, had the clerks said that Long Beach was too far for the judge to hear the case. No legal advice expected, just a little common sense.

My daughter had court and trial with Judge Unger. But this judge is rude and wont let Lawyers talk or even the petitioners. My daughter has been driving for 1.5 hrs just to go to court and nothing gets resolve because she only lets the plaintiff talk when the plaintiff has a record of Domestic violence background. I'm so tire that my daughter has to go thru this bullshit, she has spend several thousand dollars to tried to get her kids back. The judge requested not to corporal punish the kids because the respondent requested and the first one to break court order was him and my daughter took it to court and still she gave the kids to her ex husband who is verbally and physically abusive tours the kids. Not even CPS want to help my daughter or the Dixon PD. I am very disappointed with this court and all Solano County. But is something happens to my grandkids I will sue the Solano County Court and Solano County, Solano CPS and Dixon PD and the City of Dixon for not helping my daughter out

Speeding ticket amount was ridiculous amount, almost 700 for 83 mph. Average speed was 78-80, I only increased my speed to get around a driver on the phone texting... I scheduled my own court appearance to reduce ticket amount but couldn't make it on time for personal reasons so I arrived same day to pay full amount instead of asking for a reduction. They would not allow me to pay original amount because my file was in court. Had to leave without paying. I have tried to pay over the phone but there is no possible way to reach the clerks office (spent at least two hours trying to figure out how to get through). I have tried to pay online but can not access my file. I have not received anything in mail since court date I scheduled. This is the worst ran court I have seen. If your going to pass out crappy tickets at least make it easy to pay!!!

Tried paying a $20 citation and the number doesnt have an option for it or to speak to a representative. For 2 weeks I tried to pay it but I was redirected everytime I called. All the payment call centers I was redirected to by the automated call couldn't pull up the citation and I couldn't online either. Court date is tomorrow and the citation holder can't make it to the court which is hours away. There is no information anywhere on how to take care of this. A warrant being issued to the citation holder over $20 and isn't his fault they don't have it on record is ridiculous.

Second time I went to courthouse, the clerk told me to pay $60 if I wanted to refile my case. I told her I was willing to pay $60, but it was not going to change the fact that Long Beach was still more than150 miles away from Fairfield. The clerk was arrogant and standoffish. In my frustration, I wrote another check for $60 to refile. And of course, the papers were returned to me after few weeks.

I filed for Order To Produce Statement Of Assets And To Appear For Examination after winning a case against a former member of our church.

This is my experience at the Old Solano Courthouse, 580 Texas St., Fairfield.

Private companies expect their employees to multitask. Are we, taxpayers, ok with this mediocrity?

My concerns after all the time, money and effort I spent as the employee not the owner of the vehicle the county couldn't have done all of the leg work to discover the tags were indeed paid?! I'm so disgusted right now I cant think straight that Solano county stuck me with a $411 bill for a company vehicle from 7 years ago. I'm glad I left and live in a better area with better services.

Sometime around the mid of this year I received a ticket from GS services a Fairfield collections agency stating I didnt pay an expired vehicle registration on an unknown vehicle from 2010...seven years ago!!! I immediately thought it was a fake and disregarded the mail. After closer inspection it threatened to suspend my license so I called Fairfield court traffic division. Sure enough it was true and I assumed it was fraud and submitted paper work as so. After speaking with DMV and getting a bit more info from Fairfield traffic I recalled a ticket while driving for Ethan Allen furniture and contacted the company owner I worked. He assured me the registration had been paid and they frequently had there registration tags stolen off of the vehicles during that time. After months of waiting for DMV records, dealing with the Fires in Sonoma County where I live and getting move DMV vehicle information showing the vehicle was registered Solano Sup Court still denied my request for refund.
