I called to order a cake. The bakery line rang out, went to customer service, back to bakery, back to customer service. Apparently bakery doesn't answer the phone, and customer service doesn't want to get up and check to see if they have a Disney Cars cake.
Awesome clean and organized. Staff is helpful and friendly.
Long story short - I called a different Safeway and they helped me out right away.
The fresh vegetables and the prices of most daily items for my home i compared Safeways prices to Walmart. Foodmax and smart n final most of my daily items were the same or cheaper and never out dated
Nice Sadeway. I'd give 5 stars if they weren't always out if stuff.
I am leaving a comment regarding the Safeway store on Waterman in Fairfield CA. My family has been shopping there for the last 3 years and every time I go in I say it will be my last time, and yesterday I swear is my last time. I usually shop after work around 6pm, and I expect it to be busy, but there is never enough registers open. Yesterday 3 were open with at lease 15 people waiting in each line, no exaggeration. It's always like this. I also needed a bottle of syrup that is housed in the locked alcohol isle and of course there is no one to help. I asked twice for someone to call, which they did, and no one came. I waited for 15 minutes before walking again to the customer service where the person called someone by name and finally I got my $3 bottle of syrup. So what should have been a 15 minute trip to the store is an over 45 minute trip. It is aggravating, because the store is absolutely understaffed at ALL times. Also the parking lot is a complete disaster. The pavement is disgusting and desperately needs to be cleaned. If I was the manager I would contact the landlords and have that thing cleaned at least monthly. I don't even want to wear my shoes in the car because its so gross. The carts are dirty and gross, never cleaned. The store is in a nice neighborhood, I have no idea why the management doesn't get some help over there. From now on I will drive the extra miles to shop at another store. Safeway you have lost a customer in me.
