I had received an estimate from 3 contractors, then compared the quality of materials and the amount of materials needed for the job. All Above Roofing said I needed 30 more sheets of plywood for the job than I actually needed, so that's when the red flag went up. After telling him I decided to give the job to T&K Roofing, they (All Above Roofing) went and pulled a permit for my house, told me that no other contractor could do the job (because he had pulled the permit, AFTER I specifically told him he wasn't getting the job), then wanted me to reimburse him for the $140 permit. I, of course, was not legally responsible to pay him for the permit, nor was I obligated to have All Above Roofing do the job just because he pulled a permit. They ended up eating the cost of the non transferable permit, which is just what they deserved!
I was totally satisfied with T&K Roofing, and I would highly recomend them!
I would not recomend All Above Roofing due to the fact he lied about the material list and about the permit situation, and also the materials that he was going to use were not top quality.
I hope lots of people get to read this review, because I feel bad when hard working people get ripped off by crooks.
